Come and join us for an exciting 3rd winter season of indoor Pickleball at the Stony Plain Heritage Pavilion. There are 7 full size courts available completely dedicated to pickleball (there are no other sport lines on the floor) and with court dividers (no chasing balls). There is daytime play and evening play (see calendar on Events page) on weekdays and evenings (primarily Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). For those who have been playing, there will be some skill development and practice opportunity offered.
Sessions are for two hours and players will be grouped by skill level. The program will run from late October to May 11. Session cost will range from $7.50 per session to $11.00 per session. Season long sign up will provide the lowest per session cost and a 10-session punch card will have the highest cost per session. There will be 24 weeks of play from early October till the end of April. We will work the best we can to accommodate winter travel and/or injuries that impact player participation. Annual player registration fee $35.00. All players must be (or become) Pickleball Alberta (PA) and Pickleball Canada Organization (PCO) members for insurance purposes. If you are not already a member there is an additional cost of $10.00. Current PCO members must provide their valid membership number.
To start playing or to find out about our programs Subscribe to Yellowhead West on “join us” page and you will be able to access and receive notices on our programs. To register to play go to the players page and register as a player and pay the $35.00 registration fee. From there select which program you would like to register in.

Generations Introductory Pickleball
This program will be for children who are enrolled in Grades 3 to 12 and who are accompanied by an adult family member (ideally one adult player per youth player but can accommodate two youth per family adult member where necessary. An adult can be a parent, parents, siblings, child's siblings who are adults) for opportunity for both to learn to play pickleball with that adult family member. This way both can become involved in this great new family sport for all ages.
Adults who are already playing pickleball are encouraged to register with their grandchildren, children, nieces and nephews and enjoy the game together and become involved in helping all participants get introduced to this wonderful game for all ages.
Sessions will be one hour starting at 4:30 pm on Tuesdays, once per week. Paddles and balls are supplied, and sessions will be led by our assigned volunteer members. Sessions will run over 3 weeks, once per week. Cost per adult/youth pair for a 3-session program will be $30. At the end of the 3- session program there will be an option to join a regular weekly play program till the end of the indoor season in early May.
