Ready to learn to play the fastest growing sport in the world?
Developing a sound foundation of basic skills with direction from certified coaches is critical to your player development and learning how to play properly, safely, and having lots of fun!
Instructors:
The lead instructor is Brenda Hawryluk with the assistance of Yellowhead West Pickleball players. Brenda Hawryluk holds an International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) certificate. She comes with a knowledge of pickleball and an incredible infectious passion for the game. She plays at a high level of play both provincially and nationally.
Our Club welcomes our second Learn to Play Instructor Darlene MacLean. Darlene is a level 1 NCCP instructor. You will love Darlene's infectious smile on the courts helping you get your feet under you in playing the game we have all come to love.
Training clinics:The following are open to all players with special emphasis on newly enrolled or currently playing at a 2.0/2.5 (Novice) level. Participation is limited each month, so its First-Come-First-Serve. You can also enter on the waitlist and we first try to open more spots for you on these dates. If we cannot, then we will contact you once we have new dates scheduled.
